R. v. Zampino

A clause in an authorization to electronically intercept the communications of several individuals, including the respondent Frank Zampino, did not adequately protect solicitor-client privilege; nevertheless, this violation of the respondents’ rights was not serious enough to justify a stay of proceedings; a new trial is therefore ordered.
