The possibility that another individual placed the firearm in the appellant’s bag does not modify the burden on the prosecution, who was simply required to establish that the weapon had not been put there without the appellant’s knowledge or against his will; consequently, it was open to the judge to conclude that knowledge and control of the firearm was established beyond a reasonable doubt.
