The class action instituted on behalf of persons who purchased an additional warranty before June 30, 2010, based on representations by Brault & Martineau or Ameublements Tanguay that if they did not purchase the additional warranty and there was a breakdown after the manufacturer’s one-year warranty period expired, they would have to pay the costs of repair or replacement, is dismissed.
